For three decades Judge Jules has remained at the forefront of dance music culture influencing an entire generation of music lovers on his radio shows on Kiss FM and Radio 1 but also through unforgettable sets at the world’s most iconic clubs and festivals. His reputation in Ibiza with his long running Judgement nights is also the stuff of Balearic folklore.
It’s fair to say Jules has earned his place among the DJ legends and 30 years since he first hit the decks he shows no signs of slowing down with a healthy slew of releases planned for this year including his current smash ‘Twilight’ incorporating the vocal talents of Cynthia Hall doing the business on dance floors worldwide and a selection of shows at some of the best parties on the planet.
We caught up with Jules for an exclusive video interview to find out more about how it all started, the state of dance music in 2018, the nostalgia boom and how he juggles his DJ life at the weekend with a full time career as a music lawyer advising labels, DJs and artists.
