FRESH from selling out Hammersmith Apollo with their immersive ‘30 Years of Jungle and Drum & Bass’ experience with The Outlook Orchestra, the godfathers of D&B take it back to the underground for five shows at XOYO London in May.
The five-week run promises to be a tribute to the roots of D&B and the iconic duo will be joined by the likes of Ray Keith, Micky Finn, Ratpack, Nicky Blackmarket and a myriad of other luminaries along the way.

Fabio & Grooverider, Fitzroy Heslop (Fabio) and Raymond Bingham (Grooverider) are pivotal figures in the evolution of electronic dance music, particularly renowned for their influential contributions to the UK’s jungle and drum & bass scenes. Emerging in the late 1980s, the duo played a pivotal role in shaping rave culture, gaining prominence through DJ sets on pirate radio stations and at the world’s best clubs. With a career spanning more than three decades, Fabio & Grooverider have left an indelible mark in the history of electronic dance music and rave culture – and this irrepressible duo are far from finished yet.
The highly coveted XOYO residency is a cornerstone in the venue’s reputation but is only a fragment of the positive culture that XOYO perpetuates across its clubs in London and Birmingham, providing high-quality, diverse, inclusive and safe dancefloors for UK clubland’s electronic music devotees.
We sat down for an exclusive in-depth interview with our friends at Movements to discuss the origins of the D&B scene ahead of Fabio & Grooverider’s debut with the Outlook Orchestra back in 2022 which you can watch below or listen to on our Mixcloud podcast by clicking the image.
