THE cream always rises to the top and this is definitely the case when it comes to Joseph Keevill aka Saytek.
Having spent the last two decades honing his craft, he is in the middle of an incredible summer having already rocked DC10 in Ibiza for the opening night of Carl Cox’s new residency and played at the new Berlin Love Parade, Rave The Planet this month alone.
We caught up with him just as we were about to head out to Ibiza for DC1o and asked him to give us ten of his favourite tracks he’s produced from his extensive discography from the past to the present.
He told us: “I am over the moon that Carl Cox invited me to perform live at DC10. I have loads of brand new unreleased live material to jam out. I may be also dropping a couple of tracks from my last album on Carl’s Awesome Soundwave label.
All the tracks in the playlist following here have been created live and chopped straight out of my live sets, with the exception of my remix of Carl Cox’s Moroccan Chant. They really give a feeling of what I am going to do at DC10. I am happy I have a 2 hour live show there as it means I can perform some more of my deeper stuff.
The tracks have been released on either Awesome Soundwave, Trax, KMS, 23rd Century or my own label Cubism and as well as being a huge part in my live shows they have been played by Carl and plenty of other DJ’s I love from TSHA to Kevin Saunderson.”
