RISING star, Saffron Stone is on an exciting trajectory.

The London DJ and producer’s tracks have been heavily supported by many of the leading tastemakers of late, not least by Fatboy Slim who opened his set with The Music, her collaboration with Kideko, at  Liverpool’s Covid pilot event recently.

For her new single she has joined forces with another great rising talent, Ashibah with peak time track On The Line.

Ashibah

Ashibah brings a unique and rich cultural heritage with her whilst owning a trademark style and infectious energy. Initially breaking through across the globe with We Found Love alongside Nora En Pure which landed no.2 on Beatport and solo single Devotion on Defected, Ashibah has continued to skyrocket.

To mark the imminent release of On The Line, we caught up with Saffron and asked her to talk us through a playlist of tracks with the same kind of attitude.

Ashibah, Saffron Stone – On The Line

“I couldn’t wait to join forces with Ashibah and write something powerful for the reopening of clubs. On The Line has a whopping bassline, Ashibah’s own original vocals send a strong message. I can’t wait to play this out in a club!”

Kideko, Saffron Stone – The Music

“The Music will get the crowd moving in any environment, with the strong message in the track Don’t Stop The Music.”

Kölsch & Sacha – The Lights

“This was my closing track that I played at my last proper gig at 338 in March 2020. I just love the bright synth lines, it makes you feel so good. High energy track. I will be opening with this in my set on the first event back.”

Saffron Stone – Love Trap

“This track of mine got a lot of love, it was my first EP release in 2019 and was a club favourite! It got picked up by Creamfield’s and used in their official after movie.”

A Guy Called Gerald – Voodoo Ray

“I like to end my set on this all time classic when the vibes are high and everyone is grooving. It’s such a vibey track, out the box and boppy.”

Cinthie – Just Us

“A banger with such a groovy bassline and cool vocal.”

Duke – So In Love With You (Full Intention 12″ Mix)

“A go to favourite of mine to play when the energy is high. Such a feel-good track.”

Saffron Stone – All Over Again

“I made All Over Again with summer in mind, it’s a feel good summer anthem.”]

Piero Pirupa, Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)

“A big fan of Deeper Purpose’s music. I love he’s take on the classic, such a banger!”

Jansons featuring Dope Earth Alien – Medicine

“When I first heard this track it got me so excited, it’s a stomper! Pure attitude in the vocals along with a sick bassline that is bound to get the crowd going.”
