ASK any Hard House clubber to name a DJ who epitomises the Hard Dance scene; chances are, they will suggest Andy Farley.
A pioneering DJ with over 35 years of experience, Farley is a standout for his seamless mixing and precision tune selection.
The hard house icon touches down in London this Saturday to deliver what promised to be an undeniably nostalgic 10-hour vinyl-only performance at ‘Pure Andy Farley’. This sell-out event series has been an increasingly popular jewel in the programming at XOYO with the legendary Farely now clocking up over 10 editions of his unmissable daytime rave at the Shoreditch-based venue. Kicking off at 11am and with over 50,000 records to choose from, Farley will be nothing less than on-form at this marathon session.
Known for his dedication to vinyl, Farley’s sets go beyond the music, creating an immersive journey that transports the audience back to Hard House’s roots. Fans can expect an electric atmosphere as Farley digs deep into his record collection to deliver rare gems and crowd favourites.
We caught up with Andy this week and he has recorded an extended exclusive mix for The Night Bazaar Sessions. Andy told us:
“Here’s a new mix from me to celebrate my upcoming annual ten-hour vinyl-only show at XOYO in London. It features some of the releases on my PureAF label alongside other gems you’ll likely hear at the party on 2nd November. Next year sees me celebrating 35 years of DJing and the 15th Anniversary of my Pure Andy Farley event. This started out as a road trip conversation and became a reality in 2010, with the first one at Hidden in Vauxhall as a six-hour set. The event and audience have grown considerably since then to what it is today, and it is the highlight of the year for me. I hope you enjoy the mix as much as I did putting it together!”
