ITALIAN house music duo, Neverdogs are a firm favourite of ours.
Famed for their association with Marco Carola’s renowned Music On brand, their own Bamboleo label and the global parties they throw under the banner of their imprint, continue to go from strength to strength.
Two decades deep into their career Tommy and Marco remain entrenched in dance music’s deeper, groove-centric side through a stream of amazing releases and regular, signature DJ sets on some of the of the worlds biggest stages.
Their latest release, Technology, is out now on Bamboleo and with summer in full swing their schedule is packed with shows at Amnesia Milano, BPM Costa Rica, OFF Week Barcelona and After Caopsile. Following a sold out event last summer, they also return to Italy’s Lake Garda for their Bamboleo Water Park Fest in August.
We caught up with them again following the wicked PLAYLIST that they endowed us with last year, but this time they have recorded an exclusive mix for The Night Bazaar Sessions where they explore a different side to their sound.They told us;
“We had so much fun putting this mix together. It showcases a funkier and more profound side of the Neverdogs musical persona. This concept also rungs true through our latest release, Technology, which was inspired by the autonomy of modern day life and encourages people to live in the moment in a world heavily dominated by machinery, especially one particularly poignant part of the lyrics: ‘All you need are a couple of pictures that can be taken and used by everybody. I know, for you, these pictures are just memories, but for me, it’s the beginning of the end.’ It’s only our second release of the year, as we’ve been focusing on the back end of our Bamboleo brand with massive events on the horizon, including out Water Park Fest in Lake Garda in Italy and incredible upcoming music from Proudly People, Yaya, Ray Mono, Mahony, Charlie Lapicone, Leon and loads more amazing artists.”
