ITALIAN dance music duo Neverdogs aka Tommy Paone and Marco De Gregorio are celebrating 20 years of their partnership this year and earlier this month dropped the 20th release on their excellent Bamboleo Records imprint.

The Feeling Something EP is an immersive four track release from them which perfectly showcases their swinging underground dance floor grooves and the overall avant-garde nature of their label.

To mark the release and their 20th anniversary we caught up with them and asked then to talk us through a selection of their current favourites from their DJ sets including music from the new EP.

This is perfect for a peak-time set with a great combination of groove and melodies.

 

Paul C, Paolo Martini – Bounceking

A killer track from Paolo Martini and Paul C and a great choice for the start of any set.

 

Cessy – Cold Sweat

A huge underground hypnotic groover from Cessy. It’s great for both small intimate dancefloor and big club rooms.

 

Brandon Butler, Skye (US) – JWF

What a vibe weapon! This track works well in big rooms or festivals thanks to its powerful baseline and groove combination.

 

Joey Daniel – 5am Hung Kee

An amazing release from our brother Joey Daniel on his new label SIO Records. We love the dark underground atmospheres on this one.

 

Neverdogs – Feeling Something feat. Magaziine

The main track from our new EP on our Bamboleo Records imprint. We made the track with the singer Magaziine; it’s a great combination of bumpy grooves and a catchy bassline with an M1 Organ from the ’90s.

Another track from our new EP on Bamboleo. The on-trend sounds of ‘Tamarindo’ features velvety Deep House vibes and a wave of bright harmonies alongside sultry vocal shots and more well-structured & explicitly danceable drum work.

A banger with a very particular vocal that, in certain situations, can make all the difference.

This one has been a secret weapon in our sets all summer, released by our Bamboleo resident Sebastian Ledher.
