ITALY’S Piero Pirupa brings the dance floor heat with his latest disco-tinged single, Party.
Underground hitmaker extraordinaire, Piero Pirupa should require little introduction. Widely recognised as one of the most consistently brilliant house producers of his generation, it’s no exaggeration to say that if you’ve found yourself in a club at any point in the last decade, you will have found yourself stomping along to one of his records.
Topping the Beatport charts once again in 2022 with the all-conquering, Pink Floyd-sampling We Don’t Need, Piero Pirupa’s talents are the stuff of legend.
Last seen on Toolroom with his 2020 collaboration Get On alongside LEON, Piero Pirupa now returns to the label with the disco-tinged, instant classic Party. The track is a pure, feel-good dance floor fire. Built around an infectious disco sample wrapped around a thunderous bass line and his trademark driving drums, it’s a track you lose yourself the moment it starts, and yet another landmark release in one of the most impressive catalogues of any artist on the planet.
We caught up with Piero this week and he’s put together a playlist of amazing tracks you might hear him drop in his sets including the new track Party.
