His lauded release on Seth Troxler’s Play It Say It, Acid Love in the summer of 2015 resurrected his love for Acid House and brought back the raw and primitive grooves that made House music so special. Back in 2017 he also made his debut mini album Breath on the same imprint to great acclaim. Eight tracks of burning House that seemed sure to be another enlightening chapter in The Mekanism story.

Since then he has played across the world at many of the worlds iconic stages like Burning Man and BPM Festival, and released relentlessly on some of the worlds finest house and deep tech minimal imprints.

We caught up with him this week and he talked us through a playlist of summer music which you can listen to below and read what he had to say about the music.

The Mekanism – What It Was feat. Jadhé (Boogeyman)

Collaborating with the talented singer Jadhe from NYC, a few months ago I crafted a super groovy track for Jesse Calosso’s label (Boogeyman). It’s Inspired by the classic ghetto house sounds of the ’90’s and a track I’m really proud of 🙂
