PETE Tong MBE is a national treasure.

He’s been the official start to the weekend with his radio show in Britain for over two decades and his achievements as ambassador for electronic dance music are insurmountable.

2017 is a special year for Pete, not only did he start the year with a number 1 album under his belt with Classic House, his opus with the Heritage Orchestra conducted by Jules Buckley, but next month will see the International Music Summit celebrate its 10th anniversary in Ibiza. IMS, as it’s affectionately known, was created by Pete and four industry partners, Ben Turner, Danny Whittle, Mark Netto and Simeon Friend and is an educational, inspirational and motivational thought leadership platform dedicated to creating and encouraging awareness of and appreciation for electronic music and the artistry of DJing and related art forms. It’s been described as “the TED of music conferences”!

IMS is held annually in Ibiza but also hosts global events in Los Angeles, Shanghai and Malta. The flagship Ibiza event is held at the Hard Rock Hotel from May 24th – 26th and culminates in a very special party at the 2,500 year-old fort Dalt Vila, Ibiza’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site. The party at Dalt Vila is extra special because it is one of a few rare events to be allowed to be held at the ancient venue. The party this year brings together a mouth-watering line up of special back to back sets with the likes of Maceo Plex teaming up with Tale Of Us, B Traits paired with Jesse Rose, Dixon alongside Masters at Work (Kenlou) and Pete with Nicole Moudaber.

Pete is also taking up residence this summer at Blue Marlin in Ibiza. After a couple of years hiatus from a residency on the white isle, he returns to play eight Sunday parties on the beach as the sun goes down for what will be an extra special series of Pete Tong Sessions. It’s all gone right for Pete Tong.
