WE’VE  hit the 100th edition of The Night Bazaar Sessions. What an incredible ride it has been so far.

Showcasing exclusive mixes from established dance music icons alongside an array of future heroes that catch my ear as I continue on my life long musical adventure has been a joy and an archive into which I frequently delve. Especially while working from home in lockdown during these difficult times. The music in these mixes has been a source of positive light alongside the weekly DJ playlists I publish every Friday both in The Sun and on The Night Bazaar. Massive thanks are due to each and every DJ who has contributed a mix.

When I delve back into the archive of this unique centenary of sessions, I sometimes have to pinch myself. Over the last few years The Night Bazaar has presented exclusive mixes from icons such as Carl Cox, Danny Rampling, Terry Francis, Bushwacka!, Slam and Roger Sanchez alongside sets from contemporary heroes like Gary Beck, Hannah Wants, Mihai Popviciu, Harvey McKay, Purple Disco Machine, Saeed Younan, Saytek and James Organ. Peppered among these mixes it’s a pleasure to be able to shine a spotlight on up coming cool DJs I admire.

I urge anyone new to The Night Bazaar to have a good old digital rummage on our Mixcloud profile, you never know what you might unearth.

Also hosted on The Night Bazaar Mixcloud profile is the complete Clubz archive of exclusive mixes that accompanied the interviews with some of the best in the business for The Sun Clubz between 2012 and 2018. There you will find an additional 100 mixes from those heady days, a mind boggling cornucopia of global electronic talent including exclusive sets from Luciano, Paul Kalkbrenner, DJ Pierre, Pan-Pot, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold and loads more.

To celebrate the centenary of The Night Bazaar Sessions, I turned the disco lights on at home last weekend, called my wife Sarah and our two little ravers Jack and Keira into the man cave/office and played them 2 hours of some of my favourite music that I have acquired over lockdown. We had a lovely time.

In the mix you will find music from Terry Francis, Mr.C, Felix Da Housecat, Royksopp, Damian Lazarus, Audiojack, Per Hammar, Pete Tong, Greg Wilson and more, plus Sam Ball’s new track Resurrection which is out now on Cubism alongside two of the amazing remixes of Saytek’s Teaching Dub track forthcoming on our label.

The Saytek remixes are two of the winning submissions from a competition Saytek held at the end of last year inviting students he was teaching to remix an exclusive track written by him called Teaching Dub. AndThem and DJ Sensible’s remixes are two of the winning tracks featured on the forthcoming EP that land in this mix. Saytek and myself are super pleased to welcome both producers onto Cubism.

Hope you enjoy listening to this mix. Stay safe and healthy. Better days are ahead.
