AS Saytek and Mark Gwinnett’s Cubism label marks its 15th year anniversary in 2023, the label is preparing three EPs, each containing 5 brand new tracks as they continue looking to the future.
The first 5X3 volume is here and available exclusively through The Night Bazaar and the label’s Bandcamp page so Cubism fans can support the label directly while getting their hands on the music ahead of the general release in August. Featuring as ever with Cubism a diverse range of electronic music by Cubism co-founder Tony Thomas, Cubism and The Night Bazaar’s Mark Gwinnett under his Lunacy Sound Division alias alongside good friends of the label JP Chronic, Subk0de and Boston George.
This series of EPs will sit alongside the forthcoming FI5X3EN album which features 20 of the best tracks from the last five years on Cubism. The label has always marked the five year milestones in the same way and the FI5X3EN album follows our previous acclaimed 5IVE and T3N albums. The album is due for release towards the end of 2023 but there will be news soon on the mixed version of the album by Mark Gwinnett which will be available to stream together with an interview with Mark in DMC World Magazine this summer.
We hope you enjoy the music here. Tracks on the EP have already received great feedback from the likes of Paco Osuna, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, David Scuba, Satoshi Fuji, Carl Craig, and Anthony Pappa among others. We look forward to completing the series with Cubism this year and will bring you news of volumes 2 and 3 as soon as we have it on The Night Bazaar.
