THE contribution to dance music that Dave Seaman has made in over three decades in the business is massive.

Starting at the very beginning, back in the 80s, Dave turned the iconic Mixmag from a newsletter for DJs into a magazine covering all aspects of dance music and club culture. As editor he steered the Mixmag ship well into the 90s providing the solid foundation for the publication which is still going strong today.

Dave also formed Brothers in Rhythm with Steve Anderson, later joined by Alan Bremner, doing production work for the likes of Pet Shop Boys and Kylie Minogue alongside remixes for David Bowie, New Order, U2, Michael Jackson and many more.

Dave is also well known for his releases on the famed Renaissance Masters Series and Global Underground mixes.

Today, Seaman’s passion to exhibit boundary-breaking talent is as strong as ever. Via the independent record label Selador Recordings alongside Steve Parry, his inspired A&R has helped nurture some of the finest groove-merchants in dance music, with Danny Howells, Dubspeeka, Cristoph, Darren Emerson, Jimpster, Re.You, Lee Van Dowski, Uner, Audiojack, Guy Mantzur, D Nox & Beckers, Quivver, Gorge and Robert Babicz all contributing tracks and remixes recently.

Made By Pete feat. Zoe Kypri – Horizon Red [Crosstown Rebels]

One of my biggest records of 2022 finally gets a long overdue release. A stunning piece of music.

Quivver & Dave Seaman – Rockets & Rainbows [Poker Flat]

My latest release with Quivver featuring the mesmerising vocals of Brianna Price on the legendary Poker Flat. An honour.

SOEL – Running On The Moon [Bedrock]

Classic Bedrock but sounding super fresh at the same time. Love it!

Bonobo & Jacques Greene – Fold [Outlier]

Clubbier vibes from Simon Greene on his own Outlier label with a sprinkling of Jacques Greene to boot.

Jickow – Nòstra Dòna De La Gàrdia (Nick Muir Remix)

Mr Muir flying solo here and turning in one of his finest remixes in some time. A proper mind melter.

Samer Soltan – Eternity (Alican Remix) [Mago]

Istanbul legend Alican is on top of his game right now. Here’s yet further proof.

Ron Flatter – Barry [Pour La Vie]

Tip top melodic wonk from the Berlin based Flatter. Right up my strasse.

Dave Seaman & Quivver – Just Think [Renaissance]

Another of my recent collaborations with Quivver, this time for Renaissance’s celebratory 30th anniversary Milestone EP.

Raxon – Slip Mode [Kompakt]

The latest snarling, in-yer-face, wobbly Kompakt banger from the House of Rax.

Einmusik & Solee – Mariposa [Future Romance]

An esteemed German dream team join forces for this melodic tour de force.
